I missed yesterday (forgive me) so you know what that means I’m going to do 2 posts today! This one is a “day makeup look”. I have done these before, but this one will be featuring the Carli Bybel palette.
If you are not sure who she is, she is a very popular Youtuber who collaborated with BH Cosmetics to create her own makeup palette. She wanted to create a palette that would look good on all skin tones, and I think she did it. It has 14 shades, matte and shimmer that can be used for eye shadow and highlight.

So yesterday was the first time I used it and so far so good. The colors are really pigmented and I love the shimmer, and highlight colors. They are great for creating a daytime look, or a more sultry look. Bronze and gold just warm up any face. Here is what the palette looks like:
It has warm and cool tones that are great for natural chic looks or building colors for a smoky eye. But enough chit chat lets get into the look:
Unfortunately there are no names of the shadows 😦 So i just Used the first row of colors. Start with the light shades and end with the darkest, simple right?
To highlight under my brow I used the first color on the palette it’s like a vanilla color. I then used the light brown/taupe shade as my base/transition shade. Next I added the mauve shade to my crease to give it a little definition, right underneath that I added the darkest mauve/plum shade to my outer corner to wing it out a little bit.
I didn’t want to go heavy on the colors because this is a “daytime look”. For my lid I used the second color on the palette, which is beautiful champagne color. To really make it pop I first sprayed my brush with my NYX setting spray and then packed the color on. I love how it came out and it stayed in place. For a hint of more shimmer/glitter I used “birthday girl” by Colourpop Cosmetics. It was a limited edition color but have no fear they have a similar one on their site. For my lash line I used the dark mauve color mixed with the bronze shade.
For my lips I wore “Pastel pink” lip gloss by Anastasia Beverly Hills. For highlight I used “hollywood” also by Anastasia Beverly Hills, I then added the first highlight shade on the palette because you just can’t have enough highlight lol 🙂
To complete the look I added some lashes. Wispy lashes are great for day time, because they look the most natural and they are light on the eyes. You can barely notice they are there. I purchased the ones I’m wearing from shopmissa.com for a whopping $1.00!!! So get on that if you haven’t already.
That’s it my completed “daytime look” I hope that you enjoyed it. I hope it was easy to follow. It’s very basic no frills just a nice simple look. Have you tried this palette? If so tell me how you like it? Or what look would you create with it. Until next time…
