I hope that you all had a wonderful New Years Eve and everything is falling in line for you in the new year. As we all know a new year means, new goals, new commitments, and an overall fresh start.
Typically I don’t do new years resolutions because let’s face it, they are hard to keep. Everything you planned to do sounds great January 1st but by February 10th things start to look a little grim lol. So instead I opt to just make small changes along they way because that works for me. This year I decided to make a Beauty themed new years resolution. Next month will be my one year anniversary (YAYYYY!!!) 🙂 I have learned and grown so much since then, so I want to take all that I have gained from this past year and make this year even better, so I have come up with a few ways to help me do that.
1.Plan a specific blogging schedule and stick with it. Before last month, I was trying to post at least twice a week but not always on the same day. I want to pick two days and consistently post on them, which will help me engage better with you guys and keep me from getting over whelmed.
2.Incorporate my inexpensive fashion finds into my posts. In addition to being a beauty fiend I am a supreme bargain hunter, I am always looking for a great steal and I want to share what I find with you. Give you ideas on where to go.
3.Invest in a camera. Quality pictures make all the difference between a good photo and a great photo. I take all my photos with my Galaxy S5 and as much as I love my phone it’s just not going to cut it if I want to take things to another level. If you have any suggestions, please share. 🙂
4.Start collaborating with other bloggers. I have met a lot of great people through blogging, and it’s time to get together and do little projects together. Creativity can be great when linked with other eclectic minds.
5.Start a YouTube channel. This one is going to be a real challenge I think, but I won’t know how it will be unless I try, right? We all have to start somewhere.
These are my 5 beauty resolutions that I am going to work hard at keeping. The key to committing to your goals is to setting realistic goals. I believe these are tasks I can accomplish, by writing them down and making them known to others (you guys) helps me to be held accountable.
So tell me what are your resolutions? What are your big goals for 2016!!?? Until next time…
