Monday Motivation!

Good Morning Everyone!! Happy Presidents Day,

I am writing this from home today πŸ™‚ Even though I have the day off doesn’t mean I (we) don’t still need a little motivation right?!! Today’s quote is brought to us by Jim Rohn:

“If you are not willing to risk the usual you will have to settle for the ordinary”

This quote is especially good for those of us who have a hard time stepping outside of the box. We are creatures of habit, we like to stick with what works. Unfortunately you can miss out on good opportunities when you live like that. Now if that is something you can live with by all means continue to play it safe. But do you really want to live a “basic” life? You were made to be great, don’t be ordinary!

I will use myself as an example. This past June I got a new job, I love my job, and I even like the people I work with lol. I have good benefits and job security, unfortunately there really is no room for me to grow in this position. As God would have it, two weeks ago someone presented me with a job offer. I was not looking for a job or a life change, like I said I like where I am. This new job is much different from what I am use to and it is in a fast pace environment, leaving little margin for error while working. However the opportunity it would provide me far exceeds all of the challenges I might face…so I accepted the job offer. I risked the usual, and stepped out on faith. Had I remained in my day to day routine because it was comfortable for me, I would have missed the opportunity. I am excited for this new experience πŸ™‚ and ready for the extraordinary .

I hope this quote and personal testimony helps you to break away from the “usual” and motivates you to try something new. Until next time…

Be Blessed Beauties
