January Favorites

Hey Beautiful People 🙂

It’s monthly favorites time!! I love doing this every month, I mean who doesn’t want to hear about great beauty goodies??

First up, makeup wipes. I have been using Pure n’ Gentle brand that I get from Wal* Mart for .96 cents. Yes they are under a $1.00 and so worth it! For the longest time I thought that they were equate brand because they were so cheap lol. They have a clean fresh scent and don’t leave your skin feeling sticky or tacky. They are very durable and I can wipe my whole face clean with just one. There are 30 in pack so if you play it right they can last you a month if not longer. I would not recommend them as a replacement to washing your face, you should still do that every day; however they are great for those lazy nights when you want to remove your makeup and immediately crash lol.

Next up Vivid Matte Liquid by Maybelline. Now you guys know I love a matte lip and Maybelline is my go-to drug store beauty brand, so I just had to try these. They retail for about $7.99 and can be purchased at your local drugstore, Wal*Mart, and Target. Maybelline states the “Lip color glides on smooth to a matte finish. Infused with pure pigments for high-impact color creamy liquid base for a soft, cushiony feel”. I would have to agree with everything said EXCEPT… it’s not really a matte finish. Most matte lipsticks/glosses tend to be dry and un-moving once placed on the lips. This still has a moist finish and will shift while eating and drinking. However it really feels good on the lips and that’s what I like about it, because it isn’t drying. The pigments are so rich too!! which makes it easy to apply, because there is no streaking. I purchased Vivid Violet, Electric Pink and Nude Trill

I’ve got a new liner for you to try! Now you know in the past I have raved about Wet-N-Wild H20 liquid liner because when it goes on, it’s one. But I have found another winner so if your willing to spend a couple extra dollars ($19.00) it is well worth the try. It’s Trooper tattoo liner by none other than Kat Von D. I have said it before and I will say it again, there is not one thing that I have tried that I have not liked by this woman. She makes such good quality products.

It’s light weight and easy to hold. Also when you place the cap on the liner there is a little spring in there to tap the tip, so it’s not dry when you apply the product. Best part of all it does not smudge, now I will admit I haven’t gone swimming, cried, or been caught in the rain lol so I don’t know how it would do in those conditions lol but so far so good. 🙂

Last on the list is Charcoal Black Sugar Polishing Mask . Last month (I think or December lol ) I told you guys about the Cucumber mask also made by Freeman, for https://beautybyelyse.net/2016/01/19/how-to-have-a-spa-day-at-home/ these two products go good together. I like to apply this in the shower and let it sit for 3-5 min and then rinse it off. This product is good to help detox the skin. Freeman states the product:” First, naturally purifying activated charcoal helps absorb oil and impurities without over-drying. Then, black sugar helps exfoliate away dulling skin cells for softness and clarity.” It’s a warm sensation when you first apply it to your skin, but once you start exfoliating the beads dissipate and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.

Well those are all my favorites from last month, let me know if you have any or have tried any before. What are your favorite beauty products of the moment?? Until next time…

Be Blessed Beauties
