HELLOOOO!! Long time no write 😦 I feel like I say that every time I post. So I’m not even going to go there, I’m just going to let my actions do the talking!
Today’s motivation is to simply to go out there and love. There has been so much tragedy going on these last two weeks in America, we are in dire need of some love. Tragedy strikes every single day, there are injustices that are taking place right now that will never even make the news.
I can only speak for myself when I say that at times I feel helpless. Sometime I just don’t know what I can do? What will my voice accomplish alone? But how much worse would it be if I didn’t say anything at all? I am a believer of Christ so for me, he is my comfort. He is who I turn too when I feel like this and see things happening in the world that I alone can not change by myself. I look to him and just pray. I believe that he knows all that is going on in the world and he has a greater plan for all of us which includes the victims and the people acting unjustly. So with that I can go on each day knowing that it won’t be like this always, but it might take a long time for things to change, it might not even be in my life time but I believe it won’t be like this forever.
I’m hoping there will come a time when people don’t have to be afraid to go church, or families won’t have to be concerned with taking their children to the park or the movies. That certain races, and people of color don’t have to be scared to simply walk out the door of their home. This is my hope.(It’s sad this is my hope in 2016)
We can all start this change by simply loving our neighbor, figuratively and literally. Just be kind and treat others the way you want to be treated. It is really that simple. It shouldn’t have to be a second thought to be kind to someone if the opportunity presents itself. Be the positive person at your job, or school, the grocery store, where ever you are. Just be kind and love one another.
I hope this post has encouraged you to want to be the kindness this world needs 🙂 A little goes a long way. Until next time…
